Dan and Kayla, the creators.
We decided to start this journey because we both have a passion for making things. We've been together just over 6 years now, and have been making things, mostly for ourselves and family the entire time. We have made much of the furnishings and decor for own home, and wanted to bring that same joy of having unique and custom home furnishings to all of you!
The Inspiration:
Dan - Since I was a boy, I was always looking to build things, reverse engineer, and find easier ways to make cool things. My father and my grandfather both encouraged this continually, and gave me tools, supplies, advice, and spent lots of time working with me. I would spend hours tinkering around with "junk", and turn it into things that were useful and that no one else really had. Now as an adult, while I have learned that tools and supplies aren't cheap, my passion has not faded one bit. There is a certain happiness that comes from from making things for people and knowing that you put your passion into it!
